Victoria Panana is a proud wife and mother, who has enjoyed a lifelong passion for music, singing, performing and entertaining. Growing up in a musician’s home sparked a love for the stage and a joy in bringing the community together through the gift of voice and song. 

Both parents, being musicians and entertainers, ignited the same musical fire under Victoria. Home performances and elementary school talent shows were the beginning of “getting my feet wet and the butterflies out” says Victoria. She knew very early on that music and the stage were just second nature to her. 

The family had a R&B, Funk, Soul outreach ministry band called “Under the Influence” where Victoria sang alongside her mother and her Father (guitar player), which was passionately focused on bringing music, love and light to those communities often forgotten or overlooked. The band played in the prisons/jails, homeless shelters, created their own arts in the park events, led worship, played for radio and Summerfest events. Unfortunately, after 12 years in the music ministry, Victoria’s Mother was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time and fought a tough battle for many years, that sadly ended in 2008. Both Victoria and her Father John Isaminger took a year off from music to heal. Then they both decided to keep the family’s love and passion for music alive in both her mother and sisters’ honors (sister had cancer and passed in 1996). 

In 2009, Victoria and her father began a new R&B, Funk, Soul band called “The DCN Project”. Victoria has sung professionally as lead singer for the band for the past 18 years. The band has received and been featured in the “Best of the City” Albuquerque Magazine multiple times. The DCN Project has become well established and known in the community, performing professionally at our local casinos, wineries, fine dining restaurants, hotels, festivals and for countless weddings and private parties, to name a few venues. 

Victoria participated in the annual Music Under the Stars ‘Ladies Sing the Blues’ Etta James tribute, alongside some of our community’s vocal All-stars at the New Mexico Art Museum! Victoria has participated in several vocal/music competitions as well, in which she won NM Idol and through 93.3 radio station, was flown to Denver, Colorado to audition for American Idol. She has also auditioned for The Voice. She participated in Santa Ana Casinos Talent Competition, in which she was a finalist.

 Most currently, Victoria and her Father represented her mother, as she was remembered and inducted into the NM Hall of Fame at the New Mexico Hall of Fame Ceremony back in November 2025. The band performed songs that she used to sing, and Victoria and her father accepted her award on her behalf. It was a beautiful, heartfelt and emotional evening for family, friends and a community who loved her deeply.  The band continued her tribute celebrating and performing for the New Mexico Hall of Fame Summer concert series 2026 at the new Route 66 Visitors Center in Albuquerque, which all bands performing consisted of other inductees as well. 

 In addition to singing/performing with The DCN Project, Victoria has been a vocal instructor for the past 18 years. Her instruction expands to everyone from beginner singers to seasoned entertainers and all in between. She instructs all levels and genres of music, bringing a mix of traditional and modern teaching styles and techniques to her students. She has instructed both individual private lessons and choir style group lessons out of her home and in the school environment. She has assisted and organized many school Christmas programs and talent shows, as well as often assisting the music instructor at her kids’ school with additional voice lesson instruction and surprise guest appearances. 

Her heart is music and unveiling the healing qualities music offers to all!
